Towards Justice in South Sudan

South Sudan has some of the worst health indicators in the world.  Children under five mortality rate is 112 per 1,000.  Maternal mortality is the highest in the world with 2054 deaths per 10,000 live births.   Ninety four percent of women are illiterate.

Education is of paramount importance to the people as a means of overcoming injustices of  their poverty. 

Education in South Sudan is of paramount importance if the new country is to succeed  in its bid for independence.  Kongor School Support Group is dedicated to raising enough money to build a school for the children of Kongor, Twic East County, Jonglei State, South Sudan.
